The 2012 Giving USA Annual Report on Philanthropy for 2011: Results, Impact & the Future of Giving
Robert I. Evans, Founder and Managing Director of the Philadelphia fundraising firm the EHL Consulting Group, will join Patrick M. Rooney, the Executive Director of The Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University, to review the results of the just-released 2012 Giving USA Annual Report on Philanthropy for 2011.
Event sponsors include the EHL Consulting Group, National Philanthropic Trust, Foundations of the Union League and Donor Perfect.
Registration will begin at 8 AM, and the presentation will be from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM, including a Q&A and light breakfast reception.
The Giving USA Annual Report, which will be made available on June 19, 2012, the day prior to the presentation, is the only historically-reliable source of data about charitable giving that estimates how much was given by four distinct types of donors, and also reports on estimated contributions for 10 different types of charities.
Both Mr. Evans and Dr. Rooney are experts in the field of philanthropy and will offer their perspectives on how these results impact current giving patterns in the United States, influence the success of contemporary fundraising campaigns, and what this means for the development strategies of local and national organizations.
