Head Carpenter

Walnut Street Theatre, America's oldest and the most subscribed theatre company in the world, is looking for an experienced Head Carpenter.  WST produces a five-show main stage season consisting of three musicals and two straight plays, as well as a five-show children’s series. Primary responsibilities include: analyzing and implementing all scenic design plans; supervising scenic load-in, strike, and load-out for all mainstage shows; communicating key information to stage crew; running performances; and other carpentry and scenic duties as assigned.  Candidate must be able to work closely with designers and other departments.  This is a full-time, 48 week per year, IATSE position with excellent salary that begins asap.   Walnut Street Theatre is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
