Join the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance for the Unconscious Bias Series, as we explore how Unconscious Bias impacts arts and cultural organizations and affects their ability to connect and engage new and existing audiences. This virtual series is designed to help arts professionals identify implicit biases and develop systems to prevent biases for deeper engagement with their communities. Through four, 90-minute workshops, participants will learn more about implicit biases in race, gender, class and accessibility.

As an Alliance, we want to take this moment to celebrate how important arts and culture is to our region and our community. Although gathering virtually this year, we will reflect on how our cultural community has adapted to meet the current moment as well as share the many ways in which the Cultural Alliance is working to serve and support you, our valued members, and the sector at-large.

A compelling case for support – a clear and convincing rationale for why a donor should support you – is a messaging tool that every organization needs in its toolkit. Articulating your value is important in the best of times, but in anxious times, it’s critical. Your donors already believe in your mission. In a crisis, they want to understand how you – and their philanthropic dollars – will make the world a better place.
