Historic Fair Hill is a nonprofit that stewards a 5 acre site, supports community revitalization projects, and serves as a school partner in the School District of Philadelphia.

Each year, we send artists to schools throughout the Delaware Valley for long-term, small group music instruction. The program could include: in-school student pull-outs, aiding an existing music teacher during class, or working after school with kids to hone and build music skills. Musicians of all stripes needed, but especially Brass, Woodwind, Guitar, Vocalists, and String instructors. Join our roster of talented artists and be ready to start school programs that fit your schedule. Rates from $30-$50 an hour based on experience.

Role:

PlayArts is seeking teacher candidates for our school-age Play Loud AfterSchool program. Our program takes places offsite in 2 locations in Fishtown: Moffet Elementary and Hackett Elementary.

The Box Office Supervisor is a part-time position (approximately 15-30 hours per week) and is responsible for providing excellent customer service and fostering a professional atmosphere within the Box Office. The position will be required to manage the box office during show times on a rotational basis.

Settlement is looking for a part-time Student Services Assistant at our Kardon Northeast Branch. The Student Services Assistant is the first to greet our students, families, and teachers, and must provide exemplary customer service. They also help maintain a safe and secure environment by monitoring the entrance doors, directing visitors to appropriate areas of the branch, maintaining guest logs, and notifying appropriate staff or teachers of arrivals, student absences, etc.

Position Description: Glen Foerd seeks an energetic Environmental Program Manager to manage its environmental programs and work directly with youth and the public throughout the year. The Program Manager will lead Glen Foerd’s summer teen environmental program; its youth boatbuilding initiative; its summer kayaking program; and its public environmental programs. This position will also oversee the organization’s community garden and will serve as Glen Foerd’s representative to the Riverways Collaboration.

The Executive Director maintains and enhances CCAHA’s position as a leader in the conservation and preservation fields. Internally, the Executive Director is responsible for the management and oversight of all CCAHA operations and programming—providing strategic vision and leadership, ensuring the Center’s financial health and stability, sustaining the staff’s expertise, development, and productivity, and maintaining the high quality of services for which CCAHA is known. Externally, the Executive Director builds and strengthens partnerships and collaborative opportunities, advocates for excellence in the conservation and preservation fields, promotes the importance of conserving and preserving our cultural heritage, and expands the organization’s network and impact. The Executive Director is challenged to deepen CCAHA’s profile both locally—serving institutions, individuals, and communities in the Philadelphia area and the mid-Atlantic region—and nationally and beyond.
