The Garden Intern is an important part of supporting healthy living at PTM and will work within the Exhibits Department to help maintain, improve, and interpret the Please Touch Garden. This opportunity will allow the intern to experience working directly with an urban garden in an interactive children’s museum setting. Primary responsibilities for the Garden Intern include:

The position of FYI Music Director at Philadelphia Youth Choral Ensembles (PYCE) is designed to support to the choir’s mission of expanding musical opportunities, creating partnerships with educators and schools, and fostering broader engagement with choral music.

The Community Arts Center (CAC) is accepting application materials for Summer Spree Art Camp Teacher.

Summer Spree is an art camp for children ages 5 – 12 (children entering grades K – 6), located at the CAC in Wallingford, PA.   Arts activities and experiences form the foundation of our camp, which is designed to foster creativity and freedom of expression.   Visual arts, music, play, and nature form the creative engine of this unique camp experience. 

Under the supervision of the Director of Moonstone Preschool, the Assistant Director of Finance & Administration is responsible for maintaining the alignment of Moonstone’s mission with its fiscal and financial health, while supporting the organization’s human resources functions

Printmaking by the People is a citywide dialogue and public art project about how the Declaration of Independence has set the stage for life in our city and our nation today.

The project is revisiting and reimagining printing’s historic role in public communication and civic dialogue, particularly its roots in Philadelphia as a means of disseminating debates about the movement for independence.

The project will hone in on the Declaration’s promise of “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness” to the emerging nation. Today, we will ask people to explore where we have succeeded at that, what work remains to be done, and what their own passions and commitments are for the future — and express their ideas through posters that they design and print themselves.

We are inviting any community organization that would like to host a workshop to apply for consideration. Job Summary:

PlayArts is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our School Program Staff as a Lead Preschool Teacher for ages 3-4 in our Play Loud AfterSchool Program at Horatio B. Hackett Elementary. As a School Program Staff member, you will play a vital role in providing arts and enrichment programming to preschool-aged children in Northeast Philadelphia.
