Scribe Video Center is seeking instructors for the 2025 Documentary History Project for Youth, an after-school and summer production workshop for middle and high school students.  The Documentary History Project for Youth program begins in April and runs until November.  Two instructors will work with a cohort of up to 16 workshop participants/student-workers

West Park Cultural Center has two counselor positions available for Camp Ginkgo, located at St. Joe's Maguire Museum. Sawubona Creativity Project: Theatre for Performing Arts and Education is a community theatre located in South Philadelphia. We are looking for Teachers Aide to assist with our theatre programs for kids in grades Pre-K through 8th grade. This position offers a unique opportunity to engage with young performers in a creative and supportive environment. You will assist with theatre-related activities and workshops, provide student engagement and support, as well as handle light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized space.

POSITION SUMMARY: SEAMAAC is seeking to hire Teaching Artists in the following Fields: DJ or Music Production. We are committed to providing a safe space for students to learn and grow from their time with practicing artists. SEAMAAC’s Urban Arts Entrepreneurship (UAE) afterschool and summer programs’ mission is to build and support a multi-racial, multi-ethnic community of Philadelphia youth, and to support their path to post-high school education and career opportunities.

Scribe Video Center is in search of a Technical Coordinator, a part-time position with benefits. The Technical Coordinator has the primary responsibilities of supervising Scribe’s evening and weekend workshops, checking-out production equipment, assisting with the operations for a low power FM radio station, and assisting program participants with post-production (Adobe Premiere.) The Technical Coordinator is present during all workshop activities, screenings and public programs that take place at Scribe, as well as coordinating on-line presentations.

1. Introduction

Over the last four years, Mural Arts and Phoebe Bachman have worked together to produce the People’s Budget Office, a public art project about the city budget. These projects aimed to increase public awareness through popular education on the city’s budget process and offer a platform for residents to share what the city should fund. Artistic outcomes included Quilts handmade by residents across the city showing priorities for the budget, postcards to city council members, a People's Budget Festival, a series of People's Budget posters wheat-pasted across the city, a People’s Budget Office installation at LOVE Park, and a People’s Budget Roundtable Performance. The goals of these projects is to advocate, negotiate, collaborate, and dream of a city budget that is more just, equitable, and sustainable.

GIRLS FIRST

Girls First is a non-profit, tuition-free, out-of-school program for girls in grades one through four.  Its mission is to build character, instill a positive sense of self, and provide tangible life skills through a creative curriculum of arts exploration, academic reinforcement, and emotional learning. 

Darlington Arts Center (DAC) was founded in 1978 on the unique vision of including all four arts disciplines–music, visual arts, dance, and drama– in one space with an emphasis on multi-disciplinary programming. DAC has served the Delaware and Chester counties and Delaware State communities for over 40 years by fostering programs that provide possibilities and opportunities through the exploration of multi-disciplinary arts.
