Main Line Art Center seeks energetic and creative teaching artists to enhance our youth class offerings this fall.

About the Opportunity:

Uptown Studio is actively seeking dynamic, passionate, and seasoned Teaching Artists for our upcoming Classes and Summer Camps. We're on the lookout for individuals skilled in various disciplines, such as acting, musical theater, music, camera acting, dance, improv, design, and more. Our ideal candidates will have a proven track record of working with a diverse range of students spanning from ages 3 to 18.

The Master of Arts in Theatre program at VILLANOVA UNIVERSITY offers a distinct fusion of inspiring academic work and practical production experience. Our flexible, multi-faceted degree program prepares students from a variety of disciplines to succeed on stage, behind-the-scenes and in the classroom. The comprehensive MA can be completed in two years as a full-time student.

BalletX seeks creative, passionate, and highly motivated dance Teaching Artists for its in-school education program, Dance eXchange, in the 2023-2024 school year.

Glen Foerd seeks energetic, outgoing individuals to assist with our summer kayaking programs on a part-time, seasonal basis. On-Water Kayaking Assistants will aid with 2-hour excursions on the Poquessing Creek and Delaware River. Excursions run Saturdays and Sundays, depending on the tides, beginning in mid-May through mid-October. Assistants may also act as a chase boat driver when not assisting on the trip via kayak. This is a part-time, seasonal position that reports to the Environmental Program Manager, Environmental and On-Water Program Coordinator/Educator, and works collaboratively with all Glen Foerd staff and volunteers.

Under the supervision of Fleisher’s Manager of Children & Youth Education, the Summer Camp Coordinator provides logistical support for Fleisher’s 2023 Summer Camp and After Camp Club. During the term, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM this position will provide support during lunch, class transitions, and class activities. From 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM this position be the point person and administrator of the “After Camp Club” for campers staying until 5:30 PM.  

This position requires a highly organized person with experience working with children 5 - 12. The ideal candidate would have excellent visitor service skills as well as a flexible working style. This position would work onsite from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, from June 5 to July 28. This includes a mandatory training session for staff and faculty on Wednesday, June 14 from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM. 

Arts Holding Hands and Hearts (AHHAH) www.ahhah.org, a 501c3 non-profit 

is looking for trauma informed teaching artists to facilitate workshops with youth who are incarcerated in Chester County and facilitate after school workshops in Coatesville, Kennett Square, Phoenixville, and Oxford.

Role:

PlayArts is seeking teacher candidates for our school-age PlayLoud AfterSchool program for the 2023-24 school year. Our program takes places offsite in 3 locations in Fishtown: Adaire Elementary, Hackett Elementary, and Moffet Elementary.
