Make Time to Make Money
A recent TRG survey suggests that if you’re stressed out by competing critical priorities and dealing with too many challenges to achieve them, you are not alone. The survey shows a snapshot of arts practitioners pulled in many directions – too many to focus on and still meet big objectives around patronage and revenue.
In this free one-hour TRG.Rx webinar, TRG’s CEO Rick Lester and President Jill Robinson prescribe must-do actions to get your organization on track to succeed in 2013.
You’ll learn:
• What kinds of activities you can stop doing
• How you can start making patron-based decisions that generate greater and longer lasting revenue
• Why patron data can help you clear your schedule for activities that matter most
Assemble your colleagues and plan to attend together because we’ll be answering the kinds of questions that your whole team wants hear. Plus, learn about free post-webinar one-to-one consultations that TRG is offering for a limited time to organizations that participate in this webinar.

Fundraising Success Through Benchmarking - March 14
Discover how two nonprofits are engineering a more successful planned giving program and campaign using Benchmarking studies. You'll learn the benefits of Benchmarking, the step-by-step process (such as selecting peer organizations or aspirant nonprofits), as well as how to use data to support key decisions to move your case forward for increased staff, new programs, marketing initiatives or prioritizing resources.
Intended Audience:
This presentation is designed for all fund-raising/advancement professionals, including those who specialize in planned giving, major gifts, campaigns and annual giving. Although the two case studies focus on using Benchmarking data to launch a planned giving program (the Free Library) and a campaign (Elizabethtown), the workshop will provide a step-by-step process that can be used to gain valuable information to move forward an Annual Fund program or even Alumni Relations program in a college/university setting.
Breakfast Roundtable: Is Work-Life Balance Possible in Fundraising?
With an ever-widening gap between expectations and reality in regard to our capacity to get things done, is it any wonder that a recent study showed that job turnover among fundraisers is only 16 months? And while better pay and upward mobility were also listed among the top reasons for leaving an organization, what fundraisers most want is help balancing the pressure of career and family duties.
Please join us at this Roundtable discussion where participants will share real-life stories and learn from discussion leader Jessica DeGroot, president and founder of ThirdPath Institute, that there are "win-win" ways to redesign a demanding job to create more time for life—whether the reason is caring for children, aging parents, community involvement or some other life passion. Participants will also learn how to identify and overcome obstacles and leave with concrete ideas and action steps.
Your name badge and other session materials can be picked up at the AFP-GPC Registration Desk.
