National and International Youth Orchestra Liaison

There is an immediate opening at our International Music Festival in the Philadelphia area for a Youth Orchestra Liaison. Primary functions of this position include:

• Reaching out to youth orchestras throughout the country (and world) to both strengthen existing relationships and establish new relationships
• Setting up in-person meetings  with students and parents to promote summer music festival and upcoming 2018 International tour
• Maintaining schedule of youth orchestra visitations throughout the year, overseeing Youth Orchestra visitation team
• Creating content and facilitating youth orchestra campaigns for Facebook and other social media platforms

Skills and Qualifications:

• Extensive knowledge of youth orchestra environment
• Strong knowledge of classical music
• Excellent telephone manner
• Experience in sales and marketing
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Must be available to work 10 hours per week. More hours, if desired, are possible. Travel to visit youth orchestras locally may be required, but long-distance travel is not required.
