Reporting to the Chair of the Board of Directors, the Executive Director of the Chestnut Hill Conservancy will assume overall strategic and operational responsibility to ensure that the organization's activities align with its mission and ensure its long-term impact and viability.  

The Executive Director will possess a passion for the Conservancy and its work including preservation, conservation, and its extensive archives and will bring proven professional experience in these areas. They will be an effective leader who demonstrates expertise in strategic management and thrives working in collaboration with a diverse group of stakeholders including Board, staff, volunteers, members, donors and partner organizations.

The nation's first private, non-profit public art organization seeks a fundraising professional with two or more years successful non-profit fundraising experience to oversee a vigorous development and membership program.

Hidden City Philadelphia, award-winning publisher of the web magazine Hidden City Daily and producer of tours and special programs, is seeking a part-time Project Coordinator  to help manage our tour and membership programs, and assist with our annual fundraising campaign.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Co-Executive Directors, the Development and Community Engagement Manager will play a crucial role in supporting fundraising efforts, enhancing member communications, managing organizational assets, and engaging the CultureWorks community. This role requires exceptional communication skills and warm customer service, along with active participation in policy updates, nonprofit compliance, and relationship-building with donors and community members.

The American Philosophical Society's Library & Museum seeks to hire a conservator to perform conservation treatment for Library materials, with an emphasis on non-bound materials.

The Conservation Department at the American Philosophical Society is responsible for conservation treatment and preventive care of items found in the Society’s diverse special collections library. This growing collection currently includes over 14 million manuscript pages, 300,000 volumes and bound periodicals, thousands of prints and maps, and large audio, video, and digital holdings. The department is currently composed of two full-time conservators, one part-time book processor, conservation interns, and occasional volunteers.

This position aids in the preventive conservation of the collections and includes treatment and documentation of individual items such as manuscripts on paper and parchment, printed maps, ephemera, photographic materials, and graphic works on paper. Candidates will be considered at both the Assistant and Associate level, depending on experience.
