The Executive Director of Bryn Mawr Film Institute (BMFI) will lead the institution as the face of the organization through an evolving media landscape, actively working to ensure its continued relevance and impact. This role is crucial in achieving BMFI’s strategic initiatives and strengthening its community and regional partnerships and will require a significant focus on expanding and enhancing BMFI’s fundraising.

The Lansdowne Economic Development Corporation (LEDC) seeks a part-time Ceramics Co-Operator to join its Utility Works community. This position is fiscally unpaid, but trades studio space and access for assistance in visioning and maintaining Utility Work’s ceramic space.

The Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance seeks several surveyors to assist with surveying of performing arts audiences from November 2024 to March 2025.

Storybook actively seeks Non-Union professional actors/singers of every cultural background and ethnic heritage for the upcoming  2024-2025 season. All character types are encouraged. Daytime availability is required. Season's shows include "Snow White," Elves and the Shoemaker," and "Wizard of Oz." Auditions Saturday, Sept 21 and Monday, Sept 23.

Reporting to the Chair of the MLSN Board of Directors, the Executive Director is responsible for the successful leadership, management, programmatic quality, budget oversight, and economic viability of MLSN. All other staff members report to the Executive Director.

STRATEGY and PLANNING

Working with the Board and staff, the Executive Director leads long-range visioning and strategic planning efforts. The Director is responsible for setting MLSN’s operational plans and reviewing the organization’s progress against plans. 

PROGRAMMING

PECO is seeking panelists to read and deliberate on grant applications for its 2024 grants program, PECO Powering the Arts.  Now, in its third year, this annual grant opportunity helps community-based arts and non-arts groups with funds for projects geared towards attracting new and diverse audiences by reducing barriers to their participation. PECO recognizes those arts organizations that seek to create equitable access to the arts through arts education, engagement, and participation-- all essential elements of enhancing the quality of our lives and communities.

The Philadelphia Women’s Theatre Festival (PWTF) is now seeking dedicated members of the Philadelphia community to join the Board of Directors. Our Board is a critical part of the growth and direction of PWTF, especially as we enter our 10th season! The Master of Arts in Theatre program at VILLANOVA UNIVERSITY offers a distinct fusion of inspiring academic work and practical production experience. Our flexible, multi-faceted degree program prepares students from a variety of disciplines to succeed on stage, behind-the-scenes and in the classroom. The comprehensive MA can be completed in two years as a full-time student.

Each year the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance seeks individuals to serve on Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts grant advisory panels. Panelists contribute artistic, administrative, educational, and operational perspectives in discussion and evaluation of grant applications.

As a volunteer panelist, you’ll have the opportunity to forge new connections with peers who share your passion for arts and culture while supporting your community. A vital voice in the decision making process, panelists get an up-close look at the grantmaking process and learn about the many creative ways artists and arts organizations are making a difference in the Greater Philadelphia region.
