Quintessence Theatre, now finishing its 16th season of producing epic, classic theatre in Northwest Philadelphia, seeks an Artistic Associate & Company Manager to join our team. The Artistic Associate and Company Manager reports to the Producing Artistic Director and provides support in the areas of casting, company management and producing. This is a part-time hourly position averaging 20 hours per week, with some night and weekend work required during production periods.

Ceramics Technician

Abington Art Center is seeking a Ceramics Technician to work 3-4 days a week for our busy ceramics program. The ideal candidate will have experience working as a ceramics technician in a community studio or school. Or 5+ years experience as a ceramic artist managing a studio. Preference will be given to candidates with strong ceramics technical skills, familiarity with kiln loading and unloading, as well as knowledge of glaze mixing and materials, firing processes, clay bodies, ceramic studio maintenance and practices.

The Youth Orchestra of Bucks County (YOBC) is seeking a qualified individual to conduct YOBC's Philharmonia. Philharmonia is a full symphonic orchestra that provides students with challenging repertoire and performance opportunities. The Youth Orchestra of Bucks County (YOBC) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization based in Newtown, Pennsylvania. The Creative Content Associate creates and edits all print and digital content (social media, video, graphics) to promote Quintessence and its productions. This position works with the Artistic Director, Executive Director, Marketing Manager and Brand Manager to set the strategic vision and production of all visual and written materials across digital, print, and video platforms.

Project Overview

Mural Arts Philadelphia is seeking qualified visual artists or artist teams to design and execute a community-centered public mural as part of the Engaging Women and Girls of Color (EWGOC) Initiative. This project will center the voices, lived experiences, and leadership of women and girls of color, including trans individuals, and will be grounded in community engagement within Kensington, Fairhill, Strawberry Mansion and/or surrounding areas.

1. Project Overview

Mural Arts Philadelphia is seeking qualified visual artists or artist teams to design and execute a text-heavy public mural prominently featuring the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. The mural will be installed in a high-visibility, high-traffic location, such as major transportation corridors and hubs including (but not limited to) the Frankford Transportation Center.

The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating and producing custom designs under the Barnes brand.

ArtPhilly is seeking a caring, outgoing, race and gender equity-oriented individuals to join our team as part-time Docents for ArtPhilly’s commissioned project Iron and Paper: Unfolding Philadelphia’s Chinatown by artist Colette Fu. This is a temporary, part-time position.
