In the thirteen years that followed, art funding has decreased by 50 percent affecting museums, community art based programs and other arts institutions.
Reconstruction is essential in order to help our future artists, writers, dancers, musicians and art leaders! The Philadelphia community needs the minds and hearts of influential art leaders like you to speak out about the current the State of Affairs of Arts Culture in the Urban Community.

Join the Cultural Alliance and the Center for Environmental Policy to hear from the Philadelphia City Council Candidates for Districts 6-10 and their plans to advance our city.
The City of Philadelphia has identified sustainability as a key practice for enhancing and improving the economy, the environment, and the quality of life of our citizens. Leadership on these issues among Philadelphia City Council will be critical. This forum will provide At-Large Council Candidates of both parties the opportunity to highlight their positions on issues such as energy, waste, transportation, land reuse, and food access.
