NMAJH Only in America Gala

November 12, 2011 - 12:30pm

The National Museum of American Jewish History (NMAJH) is the only Museum which tells the complete story of American Jewish history. The Museum’s mission is to present educational programs and experiences that preserve explore and celebrate the history of Jews in America. The message of the Museum is universal…presenting how Jews built upon the opportunities freedom offered to make diverse contributions to American life while identifying the experiences of other ethnic groups within the core exhibition.

The ONLY IN AMERICA ® Gala, held annually, is one of the premier social and philanthropic events of the Philadelphia Jewish calendar. It raises funds for the operating budget of the Museum, an even more vital function now that we opened a new building located in the heart of America’s most historic square mile, and in the shadow of the Liberty Bell, America’s icon of freedom on Independence Mall.
