Job Searching from the Inside Out: A Five Part Seminar

October 26, 2009 - 6:00am

The internet has become an outdated tool for
job searching. Relying on it to find a job in this
economy is very, very risky..
Most people know how to job search using the internet, but in this job market the internet has been made obsolete. HR people are inundated with resumes and probably have literally thousands of resumes from which to select, if in fact they are looking at resumes at all. At times HR managers list jobs for compliance purposes. Managers who are hiring phone colleagues to find talent. Nowadays there is so much available talent you need to be visible to the managers and directors not the HR people!

Learning how to conduct an "active" job search
is what job searchers need to learn to get a job
in this market.

Most of us don't learn anything in high school or in college about job searching. When this economic crisis hit and the normal job searching methods have stopped working people are at a loss. Job Searching from the Inside Out teaches people how to conduct an active job search.

Many job searchers are impacted by the emotional
side of job loss, but don’t make the connection
between the emotions and their success (or lack thereof)
with job searching.
In the workshops I help people make the connections that remove the blocks which prevent them from finding a job
