Storybook Musical Theatre seeks Overhires for upcoming Season

Storybook Musical Theatre, a professional Equity theater for family audiences, is seeking candidates to fill the positions of Overhire Carpenters and Electricians for Load-ins and outs for 3 shows this season. One has a double run.

The Philadelphia Women’s Theatre Festival (PWTF) is now seeking dedicated members of the Philadelphia community to join the Board of Directors. Our Board is a critical part of the growth and direction of PWTF, especially as we enter our 10th season! We are looking for passionate people that share our mission - to uplift the voices of women in the arts! Whether you are an artist yourself or someone who appreciates it the Board is open to you!

The Master of Arts in Theatre program at VILLANOVA UNIVERSITY offers a distinct fusion of inspiring academic work and practical production experience. Our flexible, multi-faceted degree program prepares students from a variety of disciplines to succeed on stage, behind-the-scenes and in the classroom. The comprehensive MA can be completed in two years as a full-time student.

Each year the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance seeks individuals to serve on Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts grant advisory panels. Panelists contribute artistic, administrative, educational, and operational perspectives in discussion and evaluation of grant applications.

As a volunteer panelist, you’ll have the opportunity to forge new connections with peers who share your passion for arts and culture while supporting your community. A vital voice in the decision making process, panelists get an up-close look at the grantmaking process and learn about the many creative ways artists and arts organizations are making a difference in the Greater Philadelphia region.

We are currently accepting applications for Creative Sector Flex Fund panels. Panels will be held virtually; there will be no in person meeting.

The Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance seeks several surveyors to assist with surveying of arts and culture audiences through May 2023.

Surveyors will help to gather key data points (how much audiences spend, why they’re attending events, demographic information etc.) from audiences at arts and culture events in Greater Philadelphia. Data collected throughout this year will play an essential role in a nationwide research effort led by Americans for the Arts. Arts and culture organizations depend on that research, which is only possible through the work of the surveyors, to inform programming, operations, and most importantly, to secure funding for the vital work that they do.

Storybook Musical Theatre is seeking to cast a Non-Equity Male Understudy for the Theater for Young audiences show "Jack & the Beanstalk". Will cover the two males, Jack and Otto the Ogre. Located in the Philadelphia suburbs, the Nelly Berman School of Music, the premiere music school on the Main Line, is seeking a qualified piano instructor for in- person individual instructions. The applicant is expected to teach students of all ages and levels.

Job qualifications:

Should be pursuing or in possession of Master’s degree in Piano Performance.

Previous teaching experience required. Hourly rate commensurate with experience.

Each year, we send artists to schools throughout the Delaware Valley for long-term, small group music instruction. The program could include: in-school student pull-outs, aiding an existing music teacher during class, or working after school with kids to hone and build music skills. Musicians of all stripes needed, but especially Brass, Woodwind, Guitar, Vocalists, and String instructors. Join our roster of talented artists and be ready to start school programs that fit your schedule. Rates from $30-$50 an hour based on experience.

The Parish is seeking an Administrator to join their collaborative team in maintaining active engagement with parishioners and their families, and act as the principal contact with the parish’s financial institutions, vendor community and regulatory bodies.

The various areas for which she or he will be responsible for on a daily basis require managerial, financial, human resources and plant and facilities experience and expertise.  As the senior non-clergy role of a not-for-profit institution, the Administrator is a multi-hat wearer: equally adept at communicating with church custodial staff and parish families as demonstrating financial expertise in Vestry meetings; and equally comfortable working hands-on with the parish Sexton as analyzing monthly budget reports.
