The Manager of Development plays a key role in achieving the Chester County History Center’s fundraising goals by overseeing the Membership program, including overall strategic planning, management, growth, reporting, analysis, and communications.  The Manager of Development participates in development efforts including fund-raising campaigns, corporate giving, grant writing and management, and special event coordination. This position works closely with members, donors, corporate partners, and volunteers.

The Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance seeks several surveyors to assist with surveying of arts and culture audiences from July 2022 - May 2023.

Surveyors will help to gather key data points (how much audiences spend, why they’re attending events, demographic information etc.) from audiences at arts and culture events in Greater Philadelphia. Data collected throughout this year will play an essential role in a nationwide research effort led by Americans for the Arts. Arts and culture organizations depend on that research, which is only possible through the work of the surveyors, to inform programming, operations, and most importantly, to secure funding for the vital work that they do.

BASIC FUNCTION:                                            The  Associate Director of Development - Museum manages the Museum’s fundraising for educational programs, exhibitions, strategic initiatives, and capital projects; and is responsible for raising significant contributed revenue through grant funding from individuals, private, government, community, and family foundations; tracking and managing a contributed revenue line that includes museum donors, foundations, corporations, and individuals; and coordinating prospect research for potential museum donors.

                                                                                This position is a key member of the development and museum teams, working closely with senior leaders, curators, and education staff to meet fundraising goals. The successful candidate will have experience designing and implementing non-profit advancement plans, meeting annual fundraising goals, stewarding and retaining donors, and maintaining strong working relationships with colleagues and support staff.

The Wharton Esherick Museum (Malvern, PA) is currently seeking a Weekend Visitor Experience Coordinator to oversee our Visitor Center and be the public face of our tour program on Saturdays and Sundays. The Visitor Center is inside an iconic Wharton Esherick building which includes a small gift shop and exhibition space. Please note that this is a 10 month position from March to December – the Museum is closed to the public in January and February.

The seasonal Performance Technician will be responsible for the set-up, operation, and strike of sound and lighting systems in a variety of indoor and outdoor venues, as directed by supervisor and internal and external clients.  Additional duties will include standard stage crew jobs such as moving heavy equipment, building and striking temporary stages, and some equipment maintenance.   We are looking for candidates with experience with computerized lighting systems, small and medium sized sound reinforcement systems (12-48 channels), and computer technologies used for public presentations
