Regional Employment in the Cultural Economy (2010)


How many people are employed doing artistic and cultural work at for-profit and nonprofit businesses in Greater Philadelphia?

This report measures the number of employees in the region who are part of the “cultural economy” – either as employees of businesses (nonprofit and for-profit) primarily creating artistic or cultural products, or as employees at other types of businesses whose work is primarily related to creating artistic or cultural products at businesses with a different focus.
