Open Source is a citywide, outdoor exhibition of site-specific art created by leading contemporary artists. Mural Arts is bringing 14 extraordinary artists from around the world to Philadelphia, and they are working with us to create a new series of public artworks that explore and illuminate Philadelphia’s diverse urban identity.

Volunteer at the 2015 Annual Member Meeting & Reception

We invite you to volunteer a few hours and become a part of this memorable evening. We’ll need your assistance beginning at 3pm that afternoon as we set up and we'll kick off the night at 5:30pm at the Independence Seaport Museum.

Teens Celebrate End of Summer Internships with STAMP Party at Old City Museums

Philadelphia, PA—The Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance’s STAMP (Students at Museums in Philly) program is planning a blockbuster event for Philadelphia teens, STAMP in Old City, on Thursday, August 14, from 3:30-6:30pm. Hundreds of Philadelphia teens, including participants in Philadelphia Youth Network’s WorkReady Philadelphia internship program, will converge on the historic district for a free afternoon of live music, games and parties throughout six of the area’s top museums and attractions.

STAMP Update: Year 3 Launch!

On October 4, 2013, we launched STAMP: The Virginia and Harvey Kimmel Family Teen Program, which grants all Philadelphia teens, aged 14-19, free access to 15 museums and attractions. The goal for Year 1 of the program was to have 1,000 teens sign up, and we achieved this in the first week and the sign-ups continue to roll in! Now entering our third year of the program, we have more than 12,000 teens signed up for the STAMP pass and we are launching new additions to the program aimed at deepening engagement.

STAMP Launches Teen Internship Program with WorkReady, Bloomberg Philanthropies

In partnership with the WorkReady summer internship program, the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance's STAMP teen program has received a grant from Bloomberg Philanthropies to connect 25 rising high school juniors with summer job opportunities at 16 arts and culture institutions.
