Donyale Reavis is an attorney, wealth advisor, and educator whose career spans business law, philanthropy, estate planning, arts and entertainment, and nonprofit leadership. She currently serves as Vice President at Goldman Sachs Partners Family Office in Miami, where she advises high net worth and ultra-high net worth families on tax compliance, estate planning, wealth transfer, investment strategy, philanthropic giving, and risk management.
Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Reavis built a national boutique law practice focused on intellectual property, sports, art and entertainment law, nonprofit organizations, and trust and estate planning. She was the founder and managing partner of Calyx Advisors, LLC and Reavis & Associates, LLC, and previously served as Executive Director of CORE Scholars Foundation, where she helped secure multi-year federal grants for student scholarships and built partnerships with colleges and universities.
Reavis is also an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, where she has taught business law and venture capital since 2018. Her commitment to arts and culture is both professional and personal, shaped by deep family ties to Philadelphia’s arts community and a belief in extending that legacy through her own philanthropic and civic work.
Reavis holds a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, an MPA from Penn’s Fels Institute of Government, and a B.A. from Boston University. She is a Certified Advisor in Philanthropy and completed the Certified Private Wealth Advisor executive education program at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
