Duties will include:

The Philadelphia Area Consortium of Special Collections Libraries, Inc. (PACSCL) is accepting proposals from outside vendors to design a simple, beta website to host the Black Joy & Resilience project. Black Joy & Resilience is a two-year planning project funded by the National Historical Publications and Records Commission (NHPRC) that will facilitate access to digitized content; enable scholarly annotation of that content; test use of content in secondary and college-level classes; and make available new digital objects created during community events. 

Winterthur Museum, Garden & Library encompasses an unrivaled museum of American decorative arts in its mansion and galleries and a magnificent 60-acre naturalistic garden—all set on 1,000 gorgeous acres.

Summary:

The Development Coordinator is primarily responsible for the processing and acknowledgement of philanthropic gifts made to The Philadelphia Orchestra and Kimmel Center, Inc. (POKC) as well as accurately maintaining the constituent database with account changes. The Coordinator will manage the donor phone line and inboxes as needed.

Mural Arts’ Tacony LAB Community Arts Center is seeking applications for an artist residency to  take place Summer/Fall 2024 for a 3 month residency taking place from August 1, 2024 to  October 31. 

 The goal of this artist residency is to create a new public artwork in the Tacony neighborhood  while engaging the community in the Tacony LAB Community Arts Center.  The Tacony LAB is located at 6918 Torresdale Avenue. The Tacony Community Development Corporation (CDC) is  a co-sponsor of this residency and will be responsible for the production and installation of the  banners once they are designed. 

 The final form for this artwork is a series of banners along a 1 mile portion of Torresdale Avenue  through the neighborhood of Tacony. The artist will lead a community engagement process that  highlights the neighborhood’s uniqueness and will ultimately create graphics which will be  printed onto weather-proof materials as well as an exhibition of their work. As part of the  residency, artists will spend approximately 8 hours per week at the Tacony LAB or in Tacony.  Artists based in the Northeast or with connection to Tacony preferred. 

 The artist will be paid $6000 for this residency. A material budget of approximately $500 will be  available for supplies and engagement. The artist fee will be paid at the end of each month in increments of $2,000. 

Atelier Fine Art Services is seeking a full-time Fine Art Crate Fabricator/Carpenter in Philadelphia of any level to become part of the crate fabrication and construction team. This position is responsible for the production of custom made museum crates, travel frames, inner boxes, and inner components that are at times complex. Fabricators are familiar with a wide range of hand and power tools, including table saws, band saws, miter saws, routers and drills/impact drivers. Self motivation, time management, and attention to detail are essential qualities.

The Communications Manager is responsible for creating and implementing communication campaigns that further the achievement of the organization’s strategic initiatives. The Communication Manager supports cross-departmental collaboration and collateral development and ensures that all communications tactics align with our strategic goals and brand identity and support the mission and values of the organization. Through digital and print communications, the Communications Manager creates meaningful and long lasting connections between the people living, working, and recreating in the Wissahickon Valley and Wissahickon Trails.

This is a full-time, exempt position with a salary range of $63,000-$65,000, reporting to the Executive Director. Some work on weekends and evenings is required.
