Social Media and Marketing Intern

The Pennsylvania Horticultural Society

The Social Media and Marketing Intern will work with the Marketing Team on a variety of marketing projects and promotions from May through August of 2019.

Projects include creative writing for social media, content and audience research, trend forecasting, fact-checking, data analysis, brainstorming and monitoring of PHS social media accounts. The Social Media and Marketing Intern will also support the field marketing effort of the organization, attending and promoting various marketing promotions, PHS programs and events.

This position will assist in executing a marketing and communications strategy that leverages the mission and values of PHS, Spring and Summer Membership/ Greening Programs, the PHS Pop Up Gardens, and PHS Meadowbrook Farm.

Applicants must be available 20-45 hours a week. Some weekend and evening hours may be required. This is an unpaid internship. A weekly transportation stipend is available. College credit through the applicant’s college or university is also available.
