Join our exciting and diverse team as we work together in providing exceptional customer service to guests arriving to the most visited museum in PA. Our greeters work in a great team environment and are responsible for greeting groups, general admission guests and members and checking for appropriate admission, managing queue line, scanning tickets for theaters and special events.  Greeters also operate museum attractions such as the Sensory experience, Flight Simulator and Sky Bikes.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: 

Greeters are responsible for providing information, direction, show times, prices and activities in or around the museum. Greet busses and give group orientations. Check visitors for proper admission; challenges inappropriate behavior with students. Scan or tear tickets in theaters/special exhibits. Assist with lost children. Remind guests to not touch exhibit. Interact with guests and assist them with using Virtual Reality experiences. Safely operation attractions in “Your Brain” exhibit.  

Minimum Qualifications: 

Excellent interpersonal skills; outgoing and friendly demeanor; one to two years of customer service experience. Ability to work in adverse weather conditions and stand for long periods of time.


Unscheduled part time, 19 hours per week, including weekends and holidays.  Temporary until March 2019.
