The Field Trip Coordinator will oversee the coordination and facilitation of Historic Philadelphia’s Full Day Field Trip Experience for Title I Pennsylvania schools visiting via the Education Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program. To accomplish this, the Field Trip Coordinator will identify, communicate with, book, and schedule all EITC funded school groups.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Outreach to approved schools
  • Communicate with Teachers to schedule field trips
  • Work closely with the Programming Manager, Group Sales Manager, and partners to ensure smooth facilitation of the Full Day Filed Trip Experience
  • Oversee the training, scheduling, and other responsibilities pertaining to the staffing of Field Trip Facilitators—seasonal, part-time employees—for the Full Day Field Trip Experience
  • Assist in the onsite facilitation of Field Trips when needed
  • Grade, record and report standard assessments, teacher and student surveys and other measures


  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to think on their feet and respond appropriately and quickly to potential problems as they arise
  • Comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
