OVERVIEW:  The Byerschool Foundation is a non-profit 501c3 organization whose mission is to provide financial support and guidance to the Russell Byers Charter School.

The Administrative Office Coordinator for the Byerschool Foundation has responsibility for the executive assistant and office management duties of a vibrant non-profit organization. This position is responsible for implementing efficient systems using cloud based apps and programs, and attending the components of the office as specified below.  The Administrative Coordinator is an energetic, tech savvy individual who will support a dynamic board chair and CEO on all projects as needed. This is an hourly paid, part-time, three day a week position with opportunity for advancement. The hourly rate is $20-$25/hour and does not include benefits.
Job responsibilities include the following tasks

Office Administration
Maintains office schedule and calendar
Maintains contact and to-do lists for CEO
Stays current with emerging technologies to increase office efficiency
Maintains phone system, reception duties
Sorts and distributes mail
Maintains supplies – inventories, identify needs, orders supplies
Maintains office files
Sets up and attends monthly staff meetings – takes and distributes minutes
Processes invoices per established procedures
Prepares, prints, and mails letters for all correspondence
Maintains website
Maintains and updates social media accounts
Development
Works on creative projects as developed
Works on developing an alumni database, including using social media to find and connect with alumni
Works on events
Liaison with Board – sets up Board meetings, compiles and sends out materials for Board meetings, attends meetings, takes and sends out minutes. Maintains Board files.
Orders donor and student gifts
Processes donations
Deposits donations
Sends gift acknowledgements
Qualifications
Knowledge of office procedures and experience working in an office environment
Skilled in Microsoft Office 365 with advanced working knowledge of Excel and Word
Strong oral and written communication skills
Tech savvy
Experience with G-Suite and cloud base file systems
Ability to work independently and be a self-starter
Sharp attention to detail

Education Level: 
College degree in related field such as communications, marketing or commensurate experience
