Photography/Poetry Camp CounselorThe position of Photography/Poetry Counselor position is available for the 24h year of our Camp Ginkgo. This four-week arts and nature camp includes visual art, photography/poetry, and theatre. Photography and poetry artists experienced working with children are encouraged to apply. During the camp day, three Artist/Counselors engage children in projects and organize campers during meals, recreation, and field trips. The campers are divided into 3 age groups: 5-6, 7-9, and 10-12. Artist/Counselors are expected to create and lead a daily 45-minute project session suitable for each age group, culminating in a final presentation for families at the end of camp. The camp manager and two assistants support artist/counselors. The maximum number of campers is 30. The daily schedule: Clearances required (child abuse, criminal history, and FBI fingerprint) |
