Studio ManagerApplications are being accepted through February 23rd, 2026. Bird Studio is an art house and fabrication studio in East Falls, Philadelphia. We specialize in fine finishes, venetian plaster, murals, feature walls, and gilding. You can find images of our wide range of services on www.birdstudio.com. Past and current clients include Stephen Starr, The American Academy of Music, Comcast Center, The Four Seasons, Suraya, and Friday Saturday Sunday. Bird Studio is currently hiring a Studio Manager to join our team on a permanent part-time basis (3-4 days/week negotiable). This position would be a key part of our small and mighty team, providing the administrative backbone of the business. This position is primarily an in-office position at our East Falls studio location, with some hybrid work possible. We are looking for an individual with the following qualities: A strong self-starter who will maintain the smooth operations of the business A background or familiarity in the arts, design, or fabrication world Experience in administrative programs and processes such as Quickbooks, data management, Airtable, Google programs, Adobe, etc. Comfortable dealing with high-end clientele, including sales and communication Specific Duties will include: Manage the daily operations of the business, including updating and managing the budget, quarterly and yearly reporting, and working with the Accountant and Bookkeeper to process all necessary paperwork and taxes. Process all incoming job inquiries and move them through the estimating process, working alongside the Project Manager and maintaining all organization systems to support projects. Manage job searches and hiring for new subcontractors and employees, onboarding, payroll processing and records maintenance. Reach out to new clients for sales calls and presentations, building relationships and networking within the maker and design communities. Work independently or with subcontractors on the website, social media, quarterly newsletters, promo material, and photography. Compensation and Benefits Hourly rate will fall between $35-45 per hour, based on experience. Benefits include an employer matching retirement plan and a yearly contribution to a healthcare plan.
