JOB TITLE: Student Affairs Coordinator
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Student Affairs Engagement Coordinator reports to the Director of Advancement. This individual plans and manages student-led activities, cultural celebrations, and volunteer programs. This role serves as a key connector between students, families, and the school’s broader community.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate student programming including leadership initiatives and mentorship.
Lead storytelling and student-facing communications, including newsletters and social media.
Organize community events, family nights, and alumni mixers.
Manage volunteer networks and Home and School engagement.
Support event planning and outreach to maximize student involvement.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree required; background in education, youth development, communications, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 2–3 years of experience working with students, families, or in event planning/community engagement.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect across diverse audiences.
Experience with social media management, newsletter creation, or digital storytelling tools is preferred.
Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
Demonstrated commitment to equity, inclusion, and family engagement in a school setting.
Ability to work flexible hours to support events and student programming.
WORK SCHEDULE:
This is a 10 month, full time position. A maximum of 10 days may also be required in July and August.
COMPENSATION:
Commensurate with experience and qualifications, as outlined by the school’s salary scale.
