Summer Camp Visual Arts Teaching ArtistDarlington Arts Center (DAC) was founded in 1978 on the unique vision of including all four arts disciplines–music, visual arts, dance, and drama– in one space with an emphasis on multi-disciplinary programming. DAC has served the Delaware and Chester counties and Delaware State communities for over 40 years by fostering programs that provide possibilities and opportunities through the exploration of multi-disciplinary arts. DAC is committed to building, preserving and growing with the community we serve and the community of teaching artists. Our mission and core value is providing Every Art for Everyone! Darlington Arts Center (DAC) seeks skilled artists who have at least one year of teaching experience in a position of Visual Art Teaching Artist for private instruction and group classes at the Center, located at 977 Shavertown Road, Garnet Valley, PA 19060, from June 2024 to August 2024. Our Academic School Year is from September 2024-June 2025 and our summer program is from June 2025- August 2025. We are looking to fill the position by June 11, 2025.

Compensation This position is a 1099 contracted employee. Darlington hours of operations are from Monday- Friday 9am to 9pm and Saturdays from 9am to 4pm during the Academic Year. During the summer season our hours are Monday-Wednesday, 9 am to 8pm and Thursday- Friday 9am to 5pm. We are looking for candidates to teach in our summer camp program, which is organized by weekly themes. The hours would be 9am to 3pm, Monday-Friday. Teaching Artists are paid for each hour of teaching. The Hourly rate is $31.25 |
