Teaching Artist: Kids & Teens Fall ClassesMain Line Art Center seeks energetic and creative teaching artists to enhance our youth class offerings this fall. Expertise in drawing and painting, ceramics & sculpture, digital media, or jewelry are all welcome. Classes are themed and may incorporate mixed media techniques for a range of beginner and experienced young artists. Ideal candidates have experience working with a variety of media in community arts settings and the ability to be responsive to classroom dynamics and student engagement. Experience working with a range of skill levels is preferred. Responsibilities include creating class descriptions for online listings, class syllabi and documenting student progress. We are accepting afterschool and Saturday class proposals for: · Ages 5-7: Drawing & Painting, Mixed Media · Ages 7-9: Drawing & Painting, Mixed Media · Ages 10-12: Drawing & Painting, Mixed Media, Jewelry & Metals, Glass Fusing · Ages 13-16: Drawing & Painting, Mixed Media, Jewelry & Metals, Glass Fusing |
