JOB DESCRIPTION: The Museum Public Safety Officer welcomes visitors in a friendly and courteous manner while providing protection for staff, guests and the collections during the museum house tour. Compensation: Starting at $15.25 per hour Benefits: Including, but not limited to, medical, dental, and vision insurance; generous paid time off plan including 10 holidays, vacation, personal, and sick time; 403b with employer match for eligible employees; discounts in the museum store and cafe; free general admission for you and your immediate family Work Schedule: Wednesday - Sunday 10 AM - 5 PM, approximately 35 hours per week; 10 month position, off January and February while museum is closed to the public; eligible for benefits throughout the year Responsibilities:
Requirements Minimum Experience: 1+ years of customer service or security experience with a high school diploma Preferred Experience: 2+ years customer service or security experience in dealing with large crowds. First Aid, CPR certification, EMT experience Knowledge/Skills:
