Overview If you love theatre and want a behind-the-scenes experience, come join us! We are a nationally renowned, local theatre seeking adaptable, energetic, organized people to work Front of House. We are particularly interested in culturally sensitive candidates who can work respectfully with our patrons. You do not need direct theatre or customer service experience. You do need to be willing to learn, work with people of all backgrounds, and think on your feet. Our staff has included retirees, high-school students, and college students who work seasonally. These are open-ended, part-time, non-exempt positions. FOH staff reports to the Front of House Manager. We offer flexible schedules that will not exceed 29 hours per week and countless opportunities to learn about theatre. Spanish language knowledge is a plus. Your own transportation is a plus. We are located one mile from the Malvern stop on the Paoli/Thorndale regional rail line. House Managers are shift leaders who manage the staff and volunteers, coordinate with stage management, and assist patrons during their visit. Our ideal House Manager is flexible, calm in emergencies, a creative problem solver, and warm and welcoming to all. Those hired to be House Managers will train on all shifts and may be scheduled in a position other than manager based on scheduling needs and availability. This is a part-time, hourly position that pays $12/hour for FOH Representative shifts and $15/hr for House Manager shifts. Responsibilities might include:
