We’re looking for competent, friendly shoppe associates to join our award-winning shoppe in Ardmore, PA. The right candidate will join a fast-paced, creative and detail oriented environment and may contribute to the marketing, promotion, ecommerce and giving back components of the business. Exceptional customer service is at the core of our business model and the most important aspect of this position, so excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a desire to cheerfully assist our customers is an absolute must.

Responsibilities include:

- Greeting customers in a friendly & personable manner

- Immersing and educating yourself on our product offering to ensure an in-depth knowledge of our product assortment

- Recommending, selecting, demonstrating, helping locate merchandise based on customers’ needs/desires

- Answering questions, providing information & telling the story about the store/merchandise

- Exercising patience and tact while helping children and/or particular customers

- Stock replenishment, sales floor merchandising activities

- Maintaining organized & stocked floor during open hours

- Managing sales counter, POS experience (e.g. opening/closing cash register, counting money, balancing cash drawer, etc.)

- Bagging, boxing, packaging and/or shipping customer purchases

- Wrapping gifts

- Checking in, pricing, organizing product inventory shipments

- Maintaining cleanliness of store e.g. light dusting, vacuuming area carpets, cleaning glass cases, etc. as needed

- Additional support as needed, you are excited to dive in and get it done!

Qualifications:
- Excellence, enthusiasm, and excitement about engaging with customers

- Excellent interpersonal & verbal communication skills

- Desire to be part of a tight knit team looking to transform and elevate the traditional retail experience

- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational and follow-up skills

- Strong planning and time management skills with ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- Strong listening skills

- Ability to take direction matches ability to take initiative

- Dependable/reliable

- Integrity: holding yourself & your employees/team to the highest standards, doing the right thing always, even when no one is looking

- Computer literate (familiar with google office suite: various web apps)

- Neat & professional personal appearance

- Ability to effectively maneuver the sales floor and stockroom, may include repetitive bending, prolonged standing, twisting, stooping and stairs and lifting of up to 30 pounds.

- Ability to work 20 hours per week, including weekends
