Human Relations Administration Associate

The Associate is a member of the Finance Department also working closely with our Program Department led by the Chief Academic Officer, and with the Executive Director of Early Childhood Programming and our Branch Directors. This is a highly collaborative position.

The Associate’s role is focused exclusively on administrative HR tasks.

Specific responsibilities for this full-time position include:

  • Prepare HR reports and analytics as required; maintain accurate records of HR metrics and activities.
  • Manage HR-related correspondence and communications.
  • Manage all employee benefits administration and serve as point of contact for employee questions; assist with enrollment and claims.
  • Maintain accurate employee records in employee databases.
  • Assist in compliance with employment laws and regulations, such as EEO, FMLA, and ADA and organization policies.
  • Draft all employee offer letters for review, send, and ensure that all required paperwork is done to begin employment.
  • Coordinate orientation, onboarding and training sessions for new employees.
  • Submit and track all online job postings.
  • Assist in planning administrative staff meetings and events.
  • Additional tasks include assisting in our creative arts therapy program with administrative tasks and contracts for our community partnerships.
  • Support the daily operations of the Finance Department as requested.

The HR Administration Associate reports to the Chief Financial Officer.

Knowledge, Qualifications and Skills

  • 3+ years in an administrative position with a strong preference for HR experience.
  • Thrives in a job that requires a very high level of organization.
  • Strategic thinker who works collaboratively and manages multiple projects effectively.
  • Strong verbal, listening, and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Salesforce, and DocuSign.
  • Takes pride in providing clear, helpful information.
  • Ability to establish strong working relationships.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 9 a.m. -5 p.m.; Monday-Thursday must be in the office with a possibility of working from home on Fridays.
