Coat Check AttendantReporting to: Associate Director of Audience Services Department: Audience Experience
Summary:
Under the direction of the Audience Experience team, the Coat Check Attendant is responsible for collecting, storing, and returning coats and items dropped off by audience members. The Coat Check Attendant may also be responsible for handing out accessibility tools to audience members and collecting the appropriate form of collateral. With accurate organization the Coat Check Attendant provides efficient and prompt customer service to all audience members before, during and after each event. This position travels to all three venues, Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, Academy of Music, and The Miller Theater.
Essential Functions: Make guests feel comfortable and enhance the audience experience Hang and organize coats within the numerical order system Return coats and items using the numerical order system to guests in a friendly and efficient manner Maintain and organize coat check area always ensuring cleanliness Work with Security team to accurately complete tracking process for lost or stolen articles Hand out accessibility tools and securely store and accurately return appropriate collateral Additional duties as assigned or required
Minimum Qualifications: Availability to work a varied schedule including daytime, evenings, weekends, holidays as performance schedule requires The current position opening requires availability on Friday during the daytime Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time up to four (4) hours
