Personal Assistant

Looking for a part-time Personal Assistant who is honest, efficient, reliable, with a pleasant attitude and a sophisticated appreciation of the arts. Five to seven hours a week. Must be available on Mondays. 

Hourly pay $25-$30 according to experience. Philadelphia Art Museum area.  The duties of a part-time Personal Assistant include:

Manage household bill payments: open mail, file, change and store end-of-year files

Book appointments for household maintenance and manage household calendar

Make travel arrangements – book flights, rental cars, hotels, stop newspapers for vacation, etc.

Organize the home office and other aspects of the home – Examples: reply to invitations.  Type dictated emails.  Help keep junk mail to a minimum.  Place orders online.  Order tickets to concerts and events.

Assist in the planning and organization of parties and other events

Run errands: grocery store, drug store, post office, etc.

Handle special projects related to employer’s career: categorizing choreographic archival projects, guest artist residencies, other personal projects

 

Skills Required: proficiency with MAC computers, Microsoft Word & Excel, Google Drive

 

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

 

A Bachelor’s Degree

Minimum 1 year administrative work experience

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Competency with social media

Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize accordingly

Familiar with matters of banking, real estate etc.
