Company ManagerThe Company Manager will work in collaboration with Artistic Director Elba Hevia y Vaca to facilitate administrative tasks and the daily odds and ends of a non‐profit organization. Some responsibilities may include all aspects of: • Administrative: Managing communications, calendars, deadlines, logistics, filing systems, contracts. • Marketing: Publicizing classes and events; Cultivate PyA’s “brand” and presence through social media, website, newsletters, press releases, images and text. • Fundraising: Database management, bi-annual fundraiser, building community partnerships, gift processing. • Grants: Research, compiling, submitting, reporting, tracking. • Board Liaison: Preparing agendas, quarterly meetings, communications, follow-up and reporting. • Strategic Planning: Audience Development, ongoing, long & short-term sessions with Artistic Director. Qualifications: • A collaborative spirit and generally positive demeanor when approaching challenges. • Strong verbal and writing skills. • Basic knowledge and experience in marketing and fundraising. • A mastery of Mac skills and basic knowledge of commonly used office software and applications (Constant Contact, Word Press, Excel, File Maker pro, familiarity with Dreamweaver a plus). • Extreme proficiency with such social media as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc. • Some abilities in graphic design (Photoshop knowledge a plus) • Relevant experience will include designing marketing materials, presenter relations, tour management, contracts, publicity, payments to artists and service providers, theatrical production, and foreign work permit/visa applications. • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. • Spanish-speaking a plus. • Must be animal friendly. • Must be available on some nights and weekends. • Must be willing to make a one-year commitment.
