Full Time Gallery AssistantArader Galleries, a distinguished Philadelphia art gallery and map seller specializing in natural history, travel and exploration, and cartography, is looking for a full-time gallery assistant. The position’s main responsibility will be to assist in cataloging an extensive collection of inventory (maps and and works on paper) for both the gallery website and client catalogs. The gallery assistant will also assist in answering customer calls, greet clients, and organize the mailing of the catalogs. The assistant may also be called upon to assist the gallery director in other administrative tasks. $3350/month (full-time, 40 hours/week). REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: *The ability to life artwork up to 35 lbs. This is a full time, permanent position. The employee will work five days a week, 10am – 6pm, Saturdays are required for this position. No walk ins or calls please. |
