Associate Podcast Producer

The Science History Institute is currently recruiting for the full-time, limited duration (one year) position of Associate Podcast Producer.  The Associate Podcast Producer will join the Institute’s dynamic team of producers and hosts as they embark on a year-long grant-funded season exploring the history and legacy of racism in American science and medicine.  The Associate Podcast Producer will collaborate with the production team to develop eight 45-minute narrative episodes.

 

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Demonstrated record of success producing compelling non-fiction stories on current topics.
• A minimum of two years of professional work experience in radio or podcast production.
• Experience with audio editing software and audio scripting software.
• Ability to collaborate with others to produce high quality work that adheres to high journalistic standards.
• Coursework in history or the history of science is a plus.
