Applications for Bloomberg Worksites Now AvailableApplications are now available for the 2021 Bloomberg Arts Internship program, a cultural immersion and workforce development initiative of the Alliance funded by Bloomberg Philanthropies. Every year, we recruit 50 extraordinary high school juniors from Philadelphia public schools for an eight-week program which immerses them in Philadelphia’s rich culture, delivers professional development and college readiness training and provides meaningful internship opportunities at arts and culture organizations across the city. Since 2015, the Alliance has placed nearly 300 interns at more than 100 different organizations across Philadelphia. Bloomberg interns work across organizations to complete valuable projects. They have created and led tours, redesigned websites, managed social media campaigns, fabricated art installations, shot and edited promotional videos, and much, much more. If hosting interns might not be right for you this summer, we’re also in search of partners for weekly Deep Dives and Cultural Immersion experiences presented to the full intern cohort in a virtual setting. Deep Dives are in-depth explorations of an organization’s mission, background and programs. Cultural Immersions are an opportunity to showcase your organization’s work or collection, and might include experiences like virtual tours or live-streamed performances.
