Photojournalism Fringe Festival Intern 

The Fringe Festival Photojournalism Intern will support the Marketing & Communications and Fringe Festival Coordinator’s departments by documenting rehearsals and performances of Independent Artists leading up to and during the 2020 Fringe Festival. Working collaboratively with the Marketing & Communications team as well as the Fringe Festival Coordinator, they will engage with artists at various stages in the process and create written and visual content to support Independent Artists in their marketing, PR, and audience engagement efforts. 

Responsibilities: Communicate with Independent Artists about their performances and rehearsal times. Attend and document FringeArts pre-Festival events. Travel to artists’ rehearsals and interview performers and producers. Create website, blog, and social media content for Independent Artists. Respond to artist invitations to attend and shoot performances during the Fringe Festival.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong photography skills, are self-motivated, and possess a sense of humor.

Position: 2 open, unpaid internship, available for college credit.

Dates: Aug 3–October 10

Hours: 20 hours per week preferred, includes remote evening hours
