Act II Playhouse in Ambler, PA is seeking an Assistant Stage Manager for our 2022-2023 Season: (Dates include prep week, rehearsals and performances)

Steel Magnolias (Jan. 10th- Feb. 26th, 2023)
Hello, Dolly! (April 25th – July 2nd, 2023)

As Assistant Stage Manager, you agree to work under the direction of the Stage and Production Managers concerning all matters relevant to rehearsals and performances of the show.

Your duties include:

Working in rehearsals with the Stage Manager to track production elements
Maintain a working copy of the script and assist the actors with their lines
Maintain paperwork pertaining to the running of the show
Keep the rehearsal hall and stage areas clean
Effect scenery and costume changes when necessary
Run sound during performances
Maintain laundry
Assist with Front of House and House Management duties during
performances as needed
Coordinate understudy rehearsals and serve as the primary contact
for all understudies
Other duties as assigned by the Production Manager or Resident Stage Manager - may include painting, curtain hanging, furniture moving, and set dressing.
Sewing skills and knowledge of QLab are a plus.
