Clay Camp Intern - Technician

The Clay Studio is seeking eager Clay Camp Interns for the duration of our Summer Camp Series. Clay Camp Technicians are primarily responsible for processing the artwork created in each of our weekly summer camp classes. This includes careful smoothing and numbering of all pieces of artwork, glazing, loading and unloading kilns, as well as packaging finished artwork for pick up. This is a largely "behind-the-scenes" experience, but nonetheless, a critical position in order for Summer Camps to run effectively and efficiently. Extensive training will be provided. Experience in ceramics, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail are preferred. Clay Camp runs Monday through Friday, beginning June 22nd through August 28th. Please note that attendance at Clay Camp meetings is also required.
