People’s Light is currently accepting internship applications for several departments. We seek motivated self-starters who are excited to learn by doing, to observe many facets of a robust regional theatre’s daily activities, and to bring their curiosity and drive to any task set before them. Current opportunities are primarily for Summer 2020; however, candidates may also indicate interest in future semester opportunities. Internships are available in Development, Dramaturgy, Education, General Management, Special Events, and Production. These roles generally require a minimum of 15 hours per week, with scheduling to be coordinated with individual departments. Most internships are unpaid unless otherwise noted in the department description; academic credit may be available depending on school requirements. Summer internship applications are accepted on a rolling basis, with first consideration given to submissions received before March 31, 2020.
