Director, Marketing and Communications - Boyer College of Music and Dance

The Director of Marketing and Communications is responsible for expanding the national and international profile and reach of the Boyer College of Music and Dance, which along with the School of Theater, Film and Media Arts (TFMA) makes up the Center for the Performing and Cinematic Arts (CPCA). Oversees all aspects of marketing, promotion and communication matters for the Boyer College, including but not limited to the annual Temple University Concert Series, major concerts, development events and the Boyer College recording label (BCM&D Records). Develops and manages marketing/communications content strategy and develops content (print/digital/web) for internal and external communications. Oversees and manages event planning for major events. Supervises Assistant Director of Marketing and Communications. Additional responsibilities include scheduling of the Boyer College’s annual series of events at the Temple Performing Arts Center; daily management of the Boyer College recording label and any Center-wide projects assigned by the Dean and Vice Provost for the Arts. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and six years of directly related experience. Demonstrated experience overseeing the design and production of print materials and publications. Experience with digital, print, content and social media marketing. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

*Ability to work nights and weekends as needed.

Preferred:
*Experience with managing budgets.
*Master’s degree in Music, Arts Administration/Management or related field.
