Digital Marketing Coordinator

Please Touch Museum (PTM), the leading children’s museum may be the right place for you! PTM seeks a full-time Digital Marketing Coordinator to administer PTM digital marketing activities including organic social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) as well as administering paid digital display and paid social campaigns. He/she will also be responsible for creating engaging content and handle day-to-day management of individual social platforms. He/she will be responsible for creating original text, photo and video content, writing blog content, creating and managing a monthly social calendar, creation of all social media posts- designing, editing and cutting videos and responding to followers. As Digital Marketing Coordinator he/she should be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies, social media trends and video creation.

Other responsibilities include but limited to: assists internal marketing team across digital channels to develop content and managing individual platforms by growing awareness, increasing efficiencies and driving conversions; primarily responsible for updating PTM’s social accounts, responding to posts or comments; posts updates, news and announcements by generating a variety of appropriate content; lead content development across channels in association with overall marketing goals by producing pictures and videos to be developed into content for the PTM website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.; assist in developing and implementing social media strategy to help align with business goals; ability to manage and create monthly social media and blog promotion calendar; generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily; collaborates with Marketing Manager to create and/or edit all copy for content marketing initiatives; coordinate paid digital marketing efforts in support of existing and new marketing campaigns and to administer Search Engine Optimization and PPC campaigns including Google AdWords, Google Display Network, Facebook Ad; manager, etc.ad digital analytics reporting by establishing and managing an integrated dashboard; analyze incoming data from various digital reporting tools like Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc.; manage website content updates and email database and send firm newsletters and e-blasts to clients, vendors and referrals; and continually updated department on best practices and growing trends in digital marketing with an emphasis on social media learnings.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in creative writing, journalism, Advertising or related field required ; at least 2 years’ experience working in a marketing department with an excellent understanding of social media and copywriting; nonprofit museum experience a plus; SEO knowledge required; experience in creating simple branded social media graphics using a tool, such as Canva; require familiarity with Facebook advertising and management; must have proven experience with video editing; experience managing social media accounts; experience with WordPress content management; experience writing and optimizing web pages (title/meta description/keyword optimization) Excel, Word, Publisher, Basecamp, Google documents, Hubspot, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer and WordPress, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Final Cut Pro Data collections, analysis and project management; use computer applications for writing, budgeting, and statistical analysis; communicate; manage multiple projects; experience with community management; excellent communication and organizational skills; excellent writing, spelling, grammar, structure and proofing abilities; capability to manage multiple projects; requires excellent skills related to attention to detail, and decision making skills, possesses a strong work ethic, and willingness to work a flexible schedule as needed.
