Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance

The 2019 Bloomberg Arts Internship

DEADLINE EXTENDED! Organizations interested in partnering as a worksite now have until Friday, March 30 to apply.

The Bloomberg program is a seven-week internship providing paid internships to 50 exceptional high school seniors at arts and culture organizations across the city. Organizations typically accept two interns, who work Mondays-Wednesdays, July 1-August 16. The program pays intern wages and provides cultural immersion, professional development, and college readiness training on Thursdays and Fridays. In addition, the program provides a $750 stipend per intern to participating worksites.

The Bloomberg Arts Internship delivers an amazing value to interns and worksites. The Cultural Alliance conducts a rigorous interview and placement process, matching candidate interests and skills with the worksite needs to place the most capable and enthusiastic interns available. Bloomberg interns can lend a distinctive perspective and voice to the work of their organizations. In the past, they have been key to updating social media campaigns, creating new promotional content, and invigorating audience engagement.
