Project Manager

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Meet with clients to assess scope of project
  • Generate artwork proposals which include artwork, project coordination and installation prices
  • Selection and presentation of artwork and frame profiles for clients.  Work with clients to make final selections
  • Order placement, receive artwork and coordinate with framers
  • Schedule installation date and team.  Manage team on installation day.  This includes being willing to install artwork.
  • Track projects on a biweekly basis
  • Quarterly bonuses are given for profitable projects
  •  Research artists for current/future projects
  • Attend art shows & gallery, museum events to stay up to date on trends, artists
  • Be a team player in the office – helping others with their deadlines, organizing office & tools, pick ups/ drop offs to framers

SKILLS SOUGHT

  • Art history and graphic design knowledge are a plus
  • Excellent communications skills – verbal and written
  • A flair for good design and visual presentation
  • Highly detail oriented
  • Understanding of and ability to read construction documents, project schedules
  • Working knowledge of Power Point; proficient MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel.  Photoshop (or equivalent) are a plus
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team.  Ability to multi-task several projects, all at different phases, concurrently

This Project Manager will be part of a team of art consultants who specialize in corporate, healthcare and senior living art programs.  This position will work on smaller scale projects individually as well as on larger scale projects collaboratively.  This position is highly varied - from presentation preparation in the office to artwork installation at the client site.  Successful candidates will demonstrate an ability to communicate verbally, read architectural drawings and have a good sense of design.
