Office Services SpecialistThe Office Services Specialist assists the Facilities & Procurement Manager to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the administrative aspects of the office and the facilities. He/she has primary responsibility for the mail, supply inventory, maintenance of staff café/copy area/mailroom/PHS vehicle’s, meeting room set-up/breakdown & backup to front desk area.
Ideal candidate will be able to fulfill following expectations: Interested in greening & sustainability.
Communication: Proven track record of follow-up of task completion. Communicates completion of task list or any issues preventing the completion of the task list. Customer focus: Recognize all staff as customers. Responsive to all internal & external customers, treating everyone with care & respect. Detail oriented: Able to gather specific information to satisfy all customer request’s. Independent and collaborative work style: Comfortable working alone or in a group structure. Initiative: Is proactive about making suggestions for office improvements and/or suggests innovations. Interpersonal: Takes personal responsibility for job performance. Organization style: Takes pride in maintaining office areas in a simple, clean, efficient & useful manner. Priority setting: Plans and organizes tasks and work responsibilities to satisfy most urgent items. Relationship building: Works well with staff, vendors, members & volunteers to accomplish service related goals. Very personable. |
