Awards
The SMA honors two individuals at every conference with the Hunter-Burley Award and the Small Museum Association Award. Nominations are being accepted for the 2010 Small Museum Association Awards through December 15, 2009.

Scholarships
The SMA also offers 10 Lesley Van der Lee scholarships for new attendees.

Small Museum Association Lesley van der Lee Conference Scholarships are being accepted through December 15, 2010.

The SMA Annual Conference Scholarship has been established to offer funding for ten SMA Conference attendees. The scholarship will cover the cost of the conference registration, room, meals and a one-year membership in the SMA. Anyone affiliated with a museum, library, historical society, or related graduate study program (e.g. Museum Studies, Public History, Library and Information Studies, Historic Preservation) may apply.
