"Under Pressure" World AIDS Day Concert
A benefit for Mazzoni Center

Wednesday, December 1 at 8:00pm
@ Caplan Studio Theatre (University of the Arts)
211 S. Broad St. Phila, PA 19110

Bill Budd, Marc Silver and The Stonethrowers, and Luke Dow come together on Wednesday, December 1 for a special performance to honor World AIDS Day and support the work of Mazzoni Center.

Headliner Bill Budd has been compared to David Gray, Moby, and Joan Armatrading, among others. Budd's songs are described as "quiet grooves, haunted musings, and joyous, danceable pop, wrapped in orchestral arrangements," while Stone's arrangements have a distinctly roots-y flavor, buoyed by his captivating vocals.

Hosted by Courtney Custer, the evening will include a warm and intimate blend of folk, jazz, bluegrass, and rock by some of Philly's most talented musicians and songwriters.

One hundred percent of proceeds will benefit Mazzoni Center's Annual Coat/Gift Drive as well as our food bank, Vivian's Cupboard, both of which provide direct support to our clients living with HIV/AIDS.
